New Water and Sewer Rates

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS OF RATE INCREASE:

The Board of Directors of East Texas MUD (“District”) voted an across-the-board water rate increase to customers of 10%, and the increase will take effect on bills sent to customers in October 2025. The increase is based on an interim rate study conducted showing the rates necessary to address rising costs in providing water service to customers. The base rate (minimum charge) for standard meters has increased by $1.00 and the usage tiers have increased by the corresponding 10% per usage tier.
